Designed and developed by Jeppesen Sanderson and produced by Texas Instruments (who also had a hand in the final design and production stages), the Avstar electronic flight computer is a device long awaited by the world’s flying fraternity in all aviation sectors.

The Avstar first became available in North America last May. It was an instant and sustained hit. One of the most telling marketing assets was its accuracy up to Mach 1.0 and 36,000ft (although it gives reliable results up to 50,000ft).
