Airtest – Piper Seneca Ill

Piper’s twin line, begun way back in the early fifties with the Apache and Aztec, has climaxed as far as the light twin-motor progression at Vero Beach is concerned with the bold new Seneca III.

The company claims that its Seneca line – specifically the Seneca II – has been one of the most popular products in its class yet rolled out from the factory.

According to Piper statistics, nearly 2500 Seneca cells have been sold in six years. In fact, in 1980 the Seneca II went to customers in terms of more units than the sales of Baron 855, E55 and 858, and Cessna 31011, T310II and 337 plus its turbo variant combined.
