Ansett and ANZ Battle It Out in the Pacific

Former Air New Zealand chairman, Mr Bob Owens, refuses to let the issue of partial privatisation of the airline rest.

His most recent remarks were prompted by a looming train of privatisations in which the Labour Government looks like rivalling Maggie Thatcher (Post Office departments, shipping, airports etc) and what Mr Owens sees as the peculiar inability of the airline to speak up publicly tor itself.
