Rotor Torque
Rotortech ‘86 Rotor Torque
No one can deny that the Helicopter Association of Australia has officially come of age with the highly successful Rotortech ’86 which was held at the Canterbury racecourse on October 22nd and 23rd. The level and standard of presentation was high with the seminars run as part of the convention being very well attended.
It is the intention of the HM to hold Rotortech ’87 at the same venue in October next year and making full use of the lessons learnt from Rotortech ’86 have a bigger and even better convention with the accent being on educating the community in general on the invaluable services already being performed by helicopters and the increased services available once the largely unjustified resentment of helicopters is broken down. Civic leaders and protest groups will be invited by the HM to observe helicopter operations at first-hand and a special flying display will be presented at Rotortech ’87 emphasising safe, quiet, helicopter operations. It is hoped that representatives of these groups will attend as guests of the HAA
