Introducing the Aaai

The Association of Australian Aerospace Industries (AAAI), announcing that it has appointed the Australian Aviation as its official organ, has stated that it is proud to be associated with such a well produced and prestigious magazine.

AAAI was formed in mid 1984 to represent, in one identified industry body, the many companies operating in that sector of the Australian industry which designs, manufactures and services systems, equipment and components. Originally its emphasis was towards providing a fully co-ordinated industry base for representation at overseas exhibitions, promotions and other marketing activities. Lately, however, the Association has been operating in the wider field of representing the industry’s interests to State and Federal Government. The Association has close links with the Government appointed Aerospace Industry Council and prefers, when this is possible, to work through that body.
