New allocations this issue outnumber the other sections combined with a good mixture including helicopters, balloons, ag aircraft and homebuilts. Three ex New Zealand cropdusters appear in the listing. Fletcher AFU was rebuilt by James Aviation Ltd. (NZ) hence the serial number and it was ferried via Lord Howe Island to Sydney on the 12th July. It received maintenance at Tamworth during the next week before moving on to its new bate at Armidale. Agwagon DPM was ferried from Dunedin to Sydney on the 11th September for delivery to Hazelton Air Services at Cudal NSW, whilst Australian built Transavia Skyfarmer JSS was one of a number of such aircraft which were sent to New Zealand in kit form to be assembled locally. Also From New Zealand is Harvard HAR which has been under restoration at Bankstown for some time. Although being allocated USAF and RAF serial numbers it spent most of its life as a primary trainer with the Royal New Zealand Air Force. It was one of 32 airframes, eleven of which were airworthy, that were put up for tender in June 1978. Nine of these found their way to Australia with HAR being the seventh one to be restored to flying condition this side of the Tasman.
