Since Louis Bleriot snatched the first Channel crossing and won the £10,000 prize offered by the London Daily Mail in December 1903, mankind has been mesmerised by flight. The prize went to a Frenchman, but the impetus came from the English Lord Northcliffe. Since that time, Britain has gathered a magnificent collection of aviation memorabilia. Torii Tours has devised a British Tour which gives air enthusiasts the opportunity to see some of this unique aviation heritage and to attend the most famous Air Show of them all.

The Light Aircraft Guide is his most recently published book. Being a frequent visitor to the UK he is familiar with many of the venues on this itinerary and is a self confessed Anglophile.
