Gaa Conference Launches a New Era for The Association
The General Aviation Association (Australia) has indeed come out of the doldrums with the highly successful performance of the Association’s National Conference held at Terrigal NSW on 11th – 13th July. Whilst again many members, for one reason or another, failed to make it, some sixty members and a number of wives did and, from feedback so far, everyone got something significant out of it.
An impressive line up of speakers, including Ros Kelly MP, Bruce Baird MP, David Juli MP, together with Bill Swingler (FAG), Col Freeland (CAA), Ken Davenport (Qantas), James Kimpton (Ansell), Brian Porter (Australian) Dick Smith and many other participants from Transport and Communications, TAFE, Pacific Aviation, Hawker de Havilland, Hawker Pacific, GIO, AIA of New Zealand made it a lively forum to be involved in.
