A New Future for Woomera?

The establishment of an Air Combat Manoeuvring Range, an Electronic Warfare Range and an Instrumented Tactical Bombing Range are among the options in the planned private commercialisation of the former Woomera Rocket Range in northern South Australia.

These are some of the Defence related possibilities apart from numerous civil applications, depending on further detailed bids from some or all of the 13 major companies which expressed interest earlier this year.
