Following the item in our September Warbirds column, regarding the arrival of MiG-15 two seat trainers in Australia,the originator of the scheme to import the aircraft, Randel McFarlane, has been in contact.

Randel, Operations Manager of Norfolk Airlines, has advised that the five two seat trainers are the only MiG-15s to come to Australia and that there are no plans to import single seat MiG-15s, contrary to popular opinion.
