RTM322 Engines for EH101 Chopper

The Royal Navy has selected the Rolls-Royce Turbomeca RTM322 engine to power its EH1 0 1 helicopters.

Rolls-Royce Turbomeca has been awarded the contract to supply and support production standard engines for the EH10 1 development program, and also to carry out the RTM322 installation and integration design work. The RTM322 installation design work will commence immediately and the first such engine will be installed in the fourth pre-production aircraft, which is currently flying, as soon as possible. This new engine replaces the General Electric CT? engine as the EH101 powerplant.
