In the Mid 1930s two men had a vision of forming an airline service that would be the first to offer passengers the opportunity to fly across the Pacific Ocean after Sir Charles Kingsford-Smith had opened the way in 1928. The two men were Juan Terry ippe – the founder of Pan American Airway Systems – and Colonel Charles Lindbergh, the Chief Executive with the company.
