The 100th European built F-16 Fighting Falcon was delivered to the Royal Netherlands Air Force in mid March. The aircraft was an F-168 produced by Fokker at Schiphol General Dynamics at Fort Worth has now completed 265 F-16As and F-16Bs for the USAF and for export to Israel.

• The designation ATR42 has been adopted by Aerospatiale for their projected commuter design previously known as the AS35. The design definition has been arrived at after joint studies by Aerospatiale and Aeritalia.
