Compass Attracts Healthy Business Traffic:

Almost half of all Compass passengers are professionals travelling for business reasons, according to an inter- nal survey carried out by the airline.

The internal survey revealed that 49. 7% of the airline’s passengers were business travellers, a result which reportedly surprised Compass management (given that the carrier was originally conceived as a low cost, leisure airline) but which must undoubtedly have also been reassuring given the airline’s aggressive marketing to capture a greater slice of the business market. On the primary Sydney/Melbourne route, Compass claims that more than 85% of its passengers are typically business travellers.
