Quite a large number of additions to the register this issue compared with recent months, including a few very interesting aircraft.

Starting at the lighter end of the scale, three moreKavanagh balloons appear, EEG, LPR and LPS. This locally produced balloon is very popular in Australia and overseas interest is high especially in New Zealand. At the recent New Zealand Hot Air Balloon Fiesta at Hamilton, where Phil Kavanagh acted as launch master, two Australian and one locally owned Kavanagh performed well against British and American types in almost perfect conditions.
