Csiro F27 Facing Battle to Stay Airborne

Many readers have probably noticed VH-CAT, the F27 with the funny looking nose, parked at Tamworth, Sydney, or Essendon Airports, over the last ten years.

Unfortunately, its future now appears in jeopardy, and the irony is that the CSIRO, the owner and chief user of the custom fitted F27, is the body that could sound the death knell for the aircraft.
