Good Prospects for Exports of the Australian Developed Lads System

The prospects of major sales overseas may not dwarf the importance to be gained by a unique Australia invention in the news recently, but such exports would be nice icing on the cake of this innovation developed by Australian Defence scientists.

This is the Laser Airborne Depth Sounder (LADS) system, recently lauded in Adelaide by the Minister for Defence Science and Personnel, Gordon Bilney, the South Australian Premier, Mr John Bannon, industry leaders and senior Navy and civilian Defence “brass”.
