Bae/Ansett Flying College up and Running

The airline pilot training business is very much a cyclical one as the demand for pilots constantly changes.

One year there can be what is seen to be a desperate shortage yet only two or three years later there can be a excess of qualified pilots available who will shortly be joined by many others as they complete their training.

It is against this background that the British Aerospace/Ansett Flying College at Tamworth, NSW, has been established, drawing on experience gained from a similar BAe/British Airways college at Prestwick in Scotland.
