Uh-1H Avionics Upgrade to Be Tested.

The US National Guard has requested Bendix King to carryout a test installation on a Bell UH-1H utilising Bendix’s Gold Crown instruments and a GPS.

The proposal is separate to the US Army’s Iroquois replacement programme, which has run into funding and other problems. The proposed installation will not meet military specifications but could gain Bendix King an advantage in meeting the world wide demand for Iroquois updates.
