UK/USA Customer Support for Mil Russian Helicopters

In yet another sign of the dramatic changes that have taken place since the demise of the former Soviet Union, the UK USA Brooke Group has signed an agreement with the Mil. Moscow Helicopter Plant to provide support for Mil helicopters worldwide.

There are currently an estimated 15,000 Mil helicopters in service of which 10,000 are operating in the CIS. Support will be provided through Mil-Brooke Helicopters which has established warehouses in Moscow and Florida, with additional facilities to be established in Cyprus and Singapore. The new arrangement will assist Mil Helicopters in marketing its range of helicopters worldwide; the latter include the Mi-8, Mi-17, Mi-24 and Mi-26.
