Airtest- Siai Marchetti SF.260

During a visit to Noel Kruse’s ffigh Flight Performance Training Centre earlier this year, I was given the opportunity to fly the school’s Siai Marchetti 260.

It is a superb looking aircraft, ageless in appearance, and as I was to discover for myself, it has the handling performance of a thoroughbred. I first saw the aircraft at NAS Nowra several years ago and thought that it must have been a new import. I was very surprised to discover that it was an “oldy”; it is in fact twenty four years old.
