The Pros And Cons Of Buying Your Own Aircraft

Most of us dream that one day we will own our very own aircraft. To the majority though it remains only a dream, however quite a few determined souls successfully manage to turn it into reality and enter into aircraft ownership in some form or other.

For some its a fairly simple exercise, an opportunity arises and they grab it. This was the way it went with me when an opportunity arose to take up a half share in a Beech Musketeer. I confess I didn’t really know the Musketeer, except that there was an aircraft with a rather comic opera name and that it was somewhere in the Cessna 172/Piper Warrior category.
