Jetstar Placed the A330-200 Into Service in November With Flights From Melbourne to Bangkok and From Sydney to Phuket. A330-202 Vh-ebb Operated the Inaugural Jetstar A330-200 Service on November 23 When It Departed Melbourne for Bangkok as Jq29. The Following Day A330-202 Vh-ebd Operated the Inau-gural Service From Sydney to Phuket as Jq27.
Vh-ebd Had Earlier Ferried Back Into Melbourne From Manila as Jq7990 on November 1 After Being Painted in Jetstar Colours and Reconfigured to Its Standards. On November 9 It Operated Proving Flight Jq980 From Melbourne to Denpasar Before Returning the Following Day as Jq981.
