Another Super sale?

It’s about a year since word first started coming out of Canberra that the RAAF would acquire a squadron or two of F/A‑18F Super Hornets under the hurriedly introduced Project Air 5349.

The Super will provide a Bridging Air Combat Capability (BACC) between the retirement of the F-111C in 2010 and the introduction of the fully combat capable F-35 from around 2016.
