Cessna’s 1966 150F

Everybody knows the Cessna 152 – you probably trained on one. But did you know the 152 was just the last in a 60 year line of two-seat Cessnas? Most of these were actually 150s. Not all those 150s were trainers either – many were sold as personal aeroplanes.

Even today, an early (and therefore light) 150 in good condition would be the ideal first aircraft for a private owner. My friend Joe Platt recently learned to fly, and immediately bought a 1966 Cessna 150F. He named it Spunky – the little plane that can.
