Boeing Records Fourth Quarter Loss
Cuts More Staff the Boeing Company Has Recorded a Us$56m (a$85m) Loss for the Fourth Quarter of 2008 as the Machinists Strike Cut Into Revenues.
Revenue at the Aerospace Giant Was Down by 27 Per Cent to Us$12. 7bn (a$19. 3bn) for the Quarter Thanks to Lower Deliveries as a Result of the Six Week Strike. That Drove the Year’s Revenues Down by Eight Per Cent to Us$60. 9bn (a$92. 4bn), and Full Year Net Income Was Down by 34 Per Cent to Us$2. 7bn (a$4. 1bn).
