Denmark postpones fighter decision

Denmark’s Defence Minister, Soren Gade, has announced that a major fighter order planned for this year will be deferred because the country has failed to come to a decision on the successful bidder.

Denmark currently operates 62 F-16AMs which it bought in the late 1970s and early 1980s, and will choose between the Lockheed Martin F-35A, Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and Saab JAS-39E/F Gripen NG as a replacement.
