Perth based regional airline Skywest has implemented a web check-in system for passengers, while it has also announced that it will commence flights between Geraldton and Karratha.
The airline launched web check-in on November 17, and allows passengers travelling on RPT services to check in 24 hours before their scheduled departure time. The service will not be open to passengers connecting from Virgin Blue flights or on Monkey Mia/Kalbarri services, while it will soon be opened to passengers travelling on charter services.

Separately, the airline announced on November 16 that it is adjusting its services to Carnarvon and Karratha from December 7, which will see it increase capacity to Carnarvon and introduce a direct service between Geraldton and Karratha three times a week. The services are flown by Fokker 50 turboprops.
