Embraer announced on December 14 that the Phenom 300 light business jet has been awarded FAA certification, with deliveries of the jet to start shortly.
The company said that it welcomes the certification of the aircraft, and noted that it has exceeded some performance measures, with range extended to 1971nm with six passengers, and takeoff field length at maximum takeoff weight reduced to 956m from the original 1128m.

Embraer says that the list price for an FAA certified Phenom 300 is US$8.14m based on 2010 economic conditions.
