Ryanair has pulled out of talks with Boeing over a potential order for up to 200 737-800s, blaming Boeing for not offering attractive delivery conditions, although the carrier is not carrying out its threat to cancel aircraft already ordered.
Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary said in a statement issued by the airline on December 18 that while pricing for the aircraft was agreed, the manufacturer was not willing to incorporate other terms and conditions from existing order contracts into the new order.

The airline said that it would not be approaching other manufacturers, but left the door open for further discussions with Boeing from 2013 onwards. The carrier has also confirmed that it still plans to take delivery of 112 aircraft between 2010 and 2012 to sustain its growth.
