BAC Airports Pty Ltd, which owns Bankstown and Camden airports, has announced that long serving CEO Kim Ellis will leave the company at the end of his contract in June 2010.
Ellis said in a statement that he was proud of the achievements of the management team at BAC Airports, including growing aviation traffic and the development of a number of non-aviation properties at both airports. “After a significant period of time as CEO, I believe that now is an appropriate time for the company to transition to new leadership and for me to pursue new professional challenges,” he said in a statement.

The company says that it has engaged Heidrick & Struggles to undertake an international search for a successor to Ellis, with an appointment expected to be made in sufficient time to allow for a smooth handover.
