Malaysia Airlines (MAS) added an additional weekly service on the Kuala Lumpur-Perth route in late March, bringing the number of services per week to 10.
The additional service, which will be operated on a Saturday, will give passengers additional connectivity to a number of destinations through the airline’s Kuala Lumpur hub, and will cater for greater demand. “On this particular route we have an average load factor of 75 per cent. It is especially popular with European leisure travellers after their stopover in Malaysia,” said MAS general manager, network and revenue management, Dr Amin Khan.
