Listen to industry – it makes sense

It appears that the risks of ignoring industry warnings and experience have now been writ large by the debacle of the home insulation program – to Ministers, bureaucrats and perhaps even political staffers alike.

When industry warnings – which were plainly put and fairly obvious to most – were ignored, the government’s patronising and smug attitude to industry that ‘we know better’ really come home to roost.
