Qantas had the highest rate of on time departures during June according to the latest report on on-time performance from the Bureau of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Economics (BITRE).

Qantas recorded an on time departure rate of 86.9 per cent followed by Jetstar at 83.9 per cent, Virgin Blue at 77.9 per cent and Tiger Airways at 75.5 per cent. The regional airlines were led by Regional Express at 86.2 per cent, followed by Skywest at 85.4 per cent and QantasLink at 83.1 per cent.

Virgin Blue recorded the highest rate of cancellations for the month at 1.7 per cent, followed by Qantas and Jetstar at one per cent, while QantasLink and Skywest recorded a cancellation rate of 0.9 per cent. Regional Express had the lowest cancellation rate at 0.5 per cent.
