Australian JSF industry involvement

In the past, whenever Australia ordered a new jet fighter, it was expected the establishment of a local production line plus possibly offset work would be part of the arrangement.

Such was the case for the CAC Sabre, Dassault Mirage IIIO and McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 programs of the 1950s, 1960s and 1980s respectively.
