RAAF Super Hornet on display

March’s Avalon Airshow saw the official debut of the RAAF’s newest air combat fighter display with the new F/A-18F Super Hornet.

After a cameo appearance at last year’s Williamtown Airshow at which a short demonstration comprising a series of flybys was performed, Avalon saw the unveiling of a full aerobatic demonstration by a crew from 1SQN.
