Boeing has completed its first 787 'change incorporation'.

The first Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner to undergo change incorporation work has left Boeing’s facility in San Antonio, Texas, and should be delivered to Japan Air Lines soon.

During change incorporation, aircraft  built prior to final certification are updated to reflect production specifications. Boeing said work on the 787s includes installing electronic and mechanical equipment, completing software upgrades and removing and reworking wiring.
