The first US built Embraer Phenom 100 business jet has made a successful maiden flight, Embraer said.
The aircraft flew to 41,000ft and reached its top speed with no anomalies during the two and a half hour flight, the company said.

The Brazilian aircraft maker opened its production facility in Melbourne, Florida, in February and this month opened an adjacent customer centre and showroom.
The first US built Phenom 100 is scheduled to be delivered to Kansas City based Executive AirShare by the end of the month.
