The shelter is reflective of the shape of the body section of a Boeing 747, and a 108 foot section of paving has been laid in reference to the length of the Wright brother’s first airborne flight, which took place 108 years ago on Saturday.

The platform is 200 square metres in size, has capacity for 100 people and is wheelchair accessible.
