Boeing to take on A350 with new 777X models

The verdict is in from the father of the 777-300ER — its replacement, the 777-9X is “a winner”.

That’s the verdict from Emirates President Tim Clark at the handover of the airline’s 100th 777 A6-EGO and Boeing’s 1,000th to be delivered to Emirates late in March.
