• The public unveiling of the prototype Pilatus PC-21 trainer, HB-HZA, took place at Stans, Switzerland on May 1. Powered by a 1,139kW (1,525hp) P&WC PT6A-68B turboprop driving a new five-blade graphite propel-ler, the aircraft has a pressurised cockpit, the latest Martin Baker Mk 16L zero-zero ejection seat and a sustained cruising speed of 685km/h at low altitude.
