RNP brings Jetstar greater safety and savings

Since it commenced operations in 2004 Jetstar has, has made cost minimisation a hallmark of its business model.

In June, 2010 Australian Aviation examined the introduction to Jetstar’s A320 fleet of Required Navigation Performance/ Authorisation Required (RNP/AR) system, which allow the airline greater flexibility in approaches and departures, resulting in enhanced service delivery, fuel savings and decreased noise pollution.
