Quickstep gets first C-130J work

Sydney-based carbon composite manufacturer Quickstep has received its first purchase order under a contract with Lockheed Martin to supply composite wing flaps for the C-130J Super Hercules airlifter.

The order, covering preliminary work such as planning, tooling and training activities, is expected to be valued at between $1.4 and $1.6 million, Quickstep said in a statement.
