Virgin short-haul pilots approve new contract

Virgin Australia’s domestic pilots have voted to approve a new enterprise agreement that will give them pay raises of up to 28 per cent.

The deal brings to a close nearly 18 months of protracted negotiations and will bring pilots’ pay at Virgin closer to rival Qantas. Under the deal, pilots will see their pay increase by between 14.2 and 28.4 per cent over three years.
