IAG places order for 62 A320s for Spain’s Vueling

International Airlines Group (IAG) and Spanish value carrier Vueling have signed a purchase agreement to buy 62 A320s, including 30 A320ceo and 32 A320neo aircraft plus options for a further 58 A320s. Vueling was recently acquired by IAG.

The deal is part of a wider IAG agreement for a total of up to 220 aircraft. In addition to the up to 120 aircraft ordered for Vueling, IAG has signed a emorandum of understanding for 100 additional A320neo options that could be used by any airline in the group – British Airways, Iberia or Vueling.
