Rebuilding the government-industry relationship

While the election of a new government with an aviation policy has increased enthusiasm within industry, there remains a lot of hard work required to rebuild confidence in the positive role government can and should play in aviation.

Ignoring aviation – and transport more generally – in the new ministry was always going to provide a shaky start, but as Minister Truss has pointed out, just because it wasn’t mentioned doesn’t mean it is unloved – depending on the actions that follow.
