BFTS CT-4s return to flight

The Department of Defence has advised that all CT-4B trainers operated by BAE Systems at the Basic Flying Training School (BFTS) at Tamworth have returned to service.

Operations of the aircraft were temporarily suspended on June 10 following a precautionary forced landing by one of the CT-4Bs in a field near Gunnedah which defence has attributed to a “control issue.”
