  • IAG, the parent company of British Airways and Spain’s Iberia has ordered 20 Airbus A320neo airliners, converting options it was holding from a previous order.
  • Lessor Air Lease Corporation has ordered 60 Airbus A321neos.
  • Dutch lessor AerCap has firmed up an order for 50 Airbus A320neo Family airliners, taking its total A320neo Family backlog to 200.

Airbus A330neo

  • Lessor Air Lease Corporation has become the launch customer for the new Airbus A330neo, signing a memorandum of understanding for 25 A330-900neos.

ATR

  • Regional lessor Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) has ordered 25 ATR 42-500s and has taken options on 50 additional aircraft for delivery between 2015 and 2020.

Boeing 737

  • China’s Okay Airways has ordered four Boeing 737-800s and six Boeing 737 MAXs, and has converted a previous order for five 737-800s to 737-900ERs.
  • Lessor Avolon has signed a commitment for five Boeing 737 MAX9 airliners which is yet to be finalised.
  • Monarch Airlines has signed an agreement to purchase 30 Boeing 737 MAX 8s, the terms of which are yet to be finalised.

  • Lessor Avolon has signed a commitment for six Boeing 787-9s but is yet to finalise the terms or the purchase.

Mitsubishi MRJ

  • Eastern Airlines has signed a memorandum of understanding for 20 Mitsubishi MRJ90 regional jets for its Caribbean network based out of Miami.
