Cessna has shown off its Citation M2 business jet on a series of demonstration flights around Australia.

The business jet, which can carry six passengers up to 1,580 nautical miles, was the main attraction at the first Citation Operators Conference on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast between November 13-14.

The conference was held at Aeromil Pacific’s Advanced Jet Training Centre. Aeromil Pacific is Cessna’s authorised sales representative and authorised service centre for the Citation range of business jets in Australia.

“There has been strong interest in this region for the aircraft, particularly from Mustang owners looking for a logical next step, CJ operators who want a new more advanced Citation, and pilots looking to transition from propeller aircraft to a light jet,” Aeromil Pacific managing director Steve Padgett said in a statement.

In addition to the Sunshine Coast, the Citation M2 was also seen in the skies over Melbourne earlier in the week on a demonstration flight.
