ATSB changes make understanding incidents & accidents harder
With the introduction of the Part 61 regulations, and the largest raft of changes in recent years, it makes one wonder how pilots obtained a licence in yesteryear. Thanks to the Royal Aero Club of NSW 1936 Year Book all can be revealed.
In the 1930s there were two licence levels, the Private Pilot’s A licence and the Commercial Pilot’s B licence.
